Pickering Walkers are Welcome

Welcome to the Pickering Walkers are Welcome website.  In June 2009 Pickering became the 26th town in Britain to become a Walkers are Welcome town.

Help for your walk

We would like to help you to enjoy your stay in Pickering and go out on some wonderful walks.  Please
contact us to talk about what walks will be good for you.  If we are available we will lead a walk for you, for group of 2 to 20.  We are all very experienced walkers and know the area well.  There is no charge for this service, but a small donation would help cover our running cost.

Walkers are Welcome window stickers are starting to appear all over town.  If you want a window sticker, or if you are interested in helping us, or want more information, then please contact us .
